Why market is going down?
I think this is simple economics - demand and supply decided the price with a few exceptions. Some play is there with a few companies, but broadly it is market forces deciding the price. Over supply of shares due to "clearance sell" of BT (genuine and broker's stock of shares purchased for themselves) made a situation of over supply.
True or no, I have no idea but I have heard that the regulators finally decided to go for CDS and they knew that BTs, both types, are the hurdles. Hence, they asked the brokers to clear BTs within Shrawan. The result was that unplanned selling pressure created over supply. If this is true, still the market may remain turbulent or even go further down for another 2/3 days.
Naresh ji, I am not sure if it is part of your "conspiracy theory" or
real situation, but certainly BT pressure has contributed to nullify
many positive factors including those that you have mentioned above.
Note: In my earlier posts, I could not notice this phenomenon. Hence, my assumption that "market would move up soon" became an unrealistic assessment.
